Finally finished

I finally finished the sherbet tank that I was a pattern tester for. Geez felt like such a dork because I didn't measure it on me until I was almost done and found out I had made it to big. The pattern itself is great but you need to watch what kind of yarn you use and try it on as you go. I had to go down a hook size also. I think it was because of the yarn I used, it was Caron simply soft and I crocheted looser than normal with it. The pattern can be found here:http://crochetaddictspatterns.blogspot.com/

Happy Mothers Day

Well Its been another mothers day come and almost gone. Received calls from my oldest son and daughter today. My middle son is in Irag so I didn't think I would receive a call and I'm sure he would have if he could have. Today is also my husbands and my 6th anniversary. We spent it just hanging around the house, it was an unfortunate event that we were broke at the same time. Oh well, Britt made us homemade cards and it was nice just hanging around with the family. I've been making doilies lately with the colorful thread I got from Jaclim. I think they turned out pretty good.
