Well I have been home sick with the flu and so decided I might as well update my blog.  Just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day to do all the things I need to do.  Along with the flu we have snow that actually hit our lower elevation.  So suffice it to say staying inside is indeed a great idea.
Image hosting by PhotobucketSomehow this doily came up twice, I don't know how to fix it, anyways it is the opal rose doily from kathy (Katchkans) birthday doily series.  This was a really fun pattern and very easy to work up.

Image hosting by PhotobucketThis is a picture of the tree in my from yard that looks like a christmas tree and with the snow on it it looks like a tree that has been frocked.  That is my husband Dennis in the background being silly.

Image hosting by PhotobucketHere is a view from the backyard and the hills behind our house.

Image hosting by PhotobucketHere is Britt with a snowball she made to throw at the dog, the dog was smart and ran into the house before she could throw it.

Image hosting by PhotobucketHere is the thread holder I received from Katchkans Catch over at Crochetville,  He makes these and they sure are a work of art.  The best part is that it works really well too.

Image hosting by PhotobucketThis is a poncho I made my niece, I don't know if it fit her as I haven't heard back from my brother yet, It is made with lion brand homespun and fun fur.

Image hosting by PhotobucketHere is the Priceless Peridot from the Birthday Doily Series from Katchkans Patterns.

Image hosting by PhotobucketClose up of the Opal doily.  Wonderful pattern.

Image hosting by PhotobucketClosing view of the doily from the top of this series of pictures.  I can tell that I am starting to peter out again cause I can't think right.  So I will close for now and hopefully beat this flu into remission.
